Description
This one was a hardcore case.
First root rot, which almost killed the plant: someone put a whole piece of sponge into the pot just under the plant, so it wasn't visible, but it was keeping water, causing the rot. The plant started looking wrong and I decided to re-pot it. Good thing I did, cause the roots got almost completely rotten, I had to cut off the most of them.
The plant started growing, but it was apparently weakened. Add to this my inability to properly gauge the amount of water needed (for a long time I was using too little watering) and you'll see why it took the plant one year and a half to finally start producing flowers.
This is most basic kind of miltonia, there are much more fancy ones. But it's still quite a sight, when a plant looking like a patch of not-so-attractive large grass starts growing big, fragrant flowers.
